Help protect your Cedar siding with Rhino Shield Coating we are not typical paint or stain we offer an Elastomeric Ceramic Coating. We are asked what's the difference, we constantly are looking to improve our products in our adhesion of both the primer and topcoat to all the major surfaces. The coating once applied is about 8-10% thicker than normal paint.
APS, this is our adhesive we have improved the Elongation % to increase permeance and breathability to help prevent fewer blisters/bubbles while making the adhesive stronger while it expands and contracts.
The DFC our topcoat, has many factors to help homeowners. Class A fire rating, salt resistance, UV protection and bio resistance, helps with energy savings, mold mildew, chalking and fading. Increased elongation and tensile strength (measurement that shows how much a material can be stretched before it breaks, standard is 100% we are at 495%) helps reduce cracking. We over 1,500 colors or able to match existing colors.

This recommendation is on behalf of Carlos. Our home is located in Wisconsin has Cedar siding that previously was covered with a premier stain, but had started to fade and had several spots that started to peel or flake. After research we decided to try Rhino Shield with the hopes it would last 2-3 times longer than traditional stain or paint. It is too early to know Rhino Shield will perform, but I can recommend Carlos and Team on their application. We found Carlos to be very professional, a good communicator, and very detailed. We were impressed with his preparation and set-up prior to actual application of Rhino Shield. Carlos and Team did a good job of taping windows ETC and covering landscaping. It was a very professional job. We certainly would use Carlos in the future.
